NG-7000 Series

The CPTEC NG-7000 Series compressor lubricants are formulated using a polypropelene glycol (PPG), coupled with a high-performance additive package. The lubricants are specifically formulated to ensure shear stability, excellent lubricity and good miscibility with hydrocarbon gas.

These compressor lubricants feature excellent thermal and oxidation stability enabling them to operate over a wide range of temperatures without degradation, varnish, deposit formation or corrosion, particularly if oxygen is present in a Propane refrigeration system. The high viscosity index (VI) enables them to operate over this wide temperature range with a lower change in viscosity than other formulated lubricants.

The CPTEC NG-7000 Series are specifically advantageous in high temperature applications, particularly as the low volatility and high viscosity index means that there is significantly reduced lubricant in the gas stream and any degradation at high thermal temperatures will not result in any detrimental varnishes or deposits.
Benefits

    Expert lubricant selection needed

Specialty gas compressor lubricants work in direct contact with gas stream and may be diluted with gas or contaminated with some gaseous or liquid media. This would alter lubricant properties. For proper lubricant selection we need to perform calculations with gas dilution and contamination in mind.
